Nothing like the real thing.Oct 23, 2010
By pbpianoman The action is high and light. The buttons are plastic, and have the clunky feel of cheap children's hand-held games. The buttons work sometimes, however, if you press too hard the controler freezes. The controler will sometimes register diagonal movements while you're pressing a single direction. It also seems that the crosspad is a little sensitive to multiple strikes.
Examples experienced in play: 1. In Tecmo Bowl, pressing Right too hard could stop the runner. 2. Also in Tecmo Bowl, on many occasions I selected Pass 2(Down+A) yet it registered UP+A and caused Run 1. 3. In Dr. Mario, tapping a direction twice could move three or four spaces. 4. In Megaman 3, Jumping while running has caused sliding by a phantom Down register. Many deaths ensued. 5. In many baseball games, phantom directions have caused to all sorts of missed throws, rendering the game unplayable.
To a lesser NES fan, or a child getting experience to the old games, this controller works well enough. As a true Nintendo fan however, my search for a usable NES USB controller continues.

Doesn't work!!May 05, 2010
By M. Damico It looked wonderful, but the simple fact was that it didn't work at all. Thanks for nothing!

It's Chinese crapApr 02, 2011
By George C. Renner The controller worked for a whole ten hours before completely breaking down inside. I bought a used 15 year old controller from an old Nintendo and it still works fine. This is Chinese knock-off crap. Can't give it ZERO stars.

Severely unhappyFeb 23, 2011
By DR I have tried numerous times to log on to return this product. However every time i did, i was unable to find out how to make this possible. I was under the impression that this controller was a USB connection so that i could use it for my computer. WRONG! Now i have a completely useless remote with no system to play it on. Amazon is supposed to be an easy company to work with/purchase from/return to. WRONG! I am so unhappy about this purchase i am seriously considering never ordering from Amazon again. Had i been in the market for an original reproduction of an nes controller i would have been happy. however, since i wasn't, this is a useless product to me. thanks for all the help with the countless e-mails that were sent to try to get information for returning this product.
GoodApr 29, 2012
By kandlhorner The controller works really awesome. It isnt very easy to "mash" buttons since it is new and not broken in. So expect to fail at higher levels of Tetris!!
