Great while it works...Sep 22, 2010
By onpon4 This is a Super Nintendo controller made by Hyperkin, the makers of the RetroN 3.
I initially thought this was an excellent controller. But not anymore. The buttons are great (usually), the d-pad is good, the shoulder buttons are perfect, and the plactic feels fairly good. So what's the problem? Well, after around a half a year, two of my Tomee SNES controllers suddenly stopped working in much the same way: all the buttons fail to work except for (in the case of one of them) the B button, which acts as EVERY SINGLE BUTTON ON THE CONTROLLER. I initially discovered this on my SNES controller to USB adapter, but then discovered that the same problem occurs on the original console itself.
The final verdict? Don't buy this piece of crap unless it's particularly cheap, because it doesn't last long. Stick with original SNES controllers if you really need to play on the original console, or just play the games on Virtual Console or an emulator (legally ripped from your own cartridges, of course) and use a modern PSX-style controller.

Not the correct productJun 25, 2010
By James Was led to believe by the picture that this was the Tomee USB controller but was actually the RETRO-DUO SNES controller that does not have USB. Pretty annoyed by this. Bad sale.
