How could you dislike the roots?Apr 22, 2003
If you want fun, you don't have to spend a lot of money on XBOX. This game is tons of fun. NES games were simple, but they weren't about the flashy graphics.....they were about having fun. the surfing in this game was genius and the skating is really fun. A great game for only having two buttons to work with.

Bakka!May 31, 2002
By Prof This game is one of the fore founders for sports games. Skateboarding and Surfing, in the 80's? no one would believe that a genre such as this could be good. If your a fan of the tony halk seires and you want to know how skating started in video games then this is your game. Go on with your bad self TiKKi Guy.
Just as fun as it was 25 years ago...Oct 18, 2011
By Tasha808in702 Great game! It's taking me a while to get used to it again but it's just as fun as it was when I was kid. Good times!
I used to love this game as a kid.Jan 12, 2011
By Andrea When I was a kid I loved this game but now I have no idea why. The perspective is horrible and the water rage part makes no sense. I am not sure what the point is of this game, and why we are looking past the game from the sidelines. It is hard to tell where things are spacially. If you figure out how to play the water rage part please let me know!
Entertaining for the old schoolJul 03, 2010

This game is a oldie but definite goodie. It certainly isn't the greatest game ever, but back then, it was a solid title. it's fun in its simplicity, though I enjoyed the skateboarding levels more than the surf. I spent most of the time I played this game on the skateboarding part, and it's fun. There's cool tricks you can do to rack up the points, and all in all, this ain't a bad NES title at all. Forget XBox and all that fancy schmancy junk, sometimes you just can't beat the old school.
