We've already watched this dvd about 10 times and we just got it last week. It's so nicely done. The animation is absolutely gorgeous. All the settings are true to the time period in NYC. Every last detail is well thought out. My children can't get enough of it. At $6 it's a bargain!

My children absolutely love this special. The animation is stunning and the character performances are really charming. Very well done! Previous reviews do not reflect the special for what it is. It's a television special, hence the 24 minutes (30 minutes minus commercial breaks). That's also why it's only $6. I'm glad I didn't listen to them.

This is a very sweet animated movie based on the story of Yes Virginia. Animation is well done and the story line has been beefed up a little bit with Virginia's friendships. The real gem of the DVD is the behind the scenes footage where it talks with the cast and about the casting process.

I thought this movie was very cute. The animation was well done, and my son enjoyed it. BUT - if your child is young enough to not have even questioned the existence of Santa, do not have them watch this movie. Because the questions will start! I realized too late that this was going to be the catalyst for my son realizing that other kids question Santa, that he can't really be in all places at once, etc. Bummer.

I bought this DVD after watching the Macy's Day Parade and hearing Ann Hampton Callaway sing the song written for the DVD. The DVD is charming and the perfect thing for families to watch each Xmas season. You have to wait for the closing credits to hear Callaway sing the song, but it is worth the wait...what a fabulous, expressive voice. I bought several copies as gifts for friends this past Christmas.
